We Care About You!

River Rock has been carefully monitoring WHO, CDC, OSHA, state and local agencies concerning the COVID-19 virus and has taken and will continue to take actions to ensure the safety and health of all our employees and guests. Our goal is to continue service with as little disruption as possible while ensuring coordination and standardized methodologies of precautionary procedures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

What to Expect

River Rock Casino is open! 
The Casino will be a non-smoking indoor facility until further notice. Outdoor smoking will be in designated areas with clear signage.

Entering River Rock Casino

  • All arrivals will be directed to the main entrance with all other entrances closed for entry (but not exit).
  • Door Security: This entrance will be manned by a security officer who will open the door for the guest and check ID for age. Security may ask patrons wearing masks to lower their mask momentarily in order to confirm identity before entry.
  • Guests Entry Requirements: All guests will have their temperature taken before they enter the casino. Those with a temperature below 100.4 Fahenheit will be allowed to enter. Each patron will be told of the requirement to wear a mask, masks and hand sanitizer will be provided.
  • Guests Arrival/ Departure: All guests will be counted when they enter and depart to ensure occupancy limits are being followed.
  • We've updated our mask policy. Effective immediately the CDC recommends the following are no longer acceptable as face coverings :Masks with vents, gaiter masks and bandanas will not be permitted. If your mask does not meet the current guidelines, we will provide you with an approved mask to enter the casino.

Guest Health & Safety

  • Extensive fogging disinfection was performed prior to the casino opening to the public.
  • Public Space and Communal Areas: The frequency of cleaning and sanitizing will be increased in all public spaces with an emphasis on frequent contact surfaces including, but not limited to, bathrooms, cage/player’s club counters, door handles, ATMs, gaming machines and tables, dining surfaces and seating areas, and garage elevator buttons and surfaces.
  • Eating and Drinking on the Casino Floor:
    • Food Service: Eating will be restricted to restaurant venues only with no food permitted to be consumed on the casino floor.
    • Drink Service: Drinking is allowed on the casino floor and guests will be encouraged to use a straw. Straws will be distributed with all alcohol and non-alcohol drinks.

Casino Cage

  • Outside Front Counters will be disinfected regularly.
  • Sanitizer will be available at all windows on counters.
  • Stanchions and markings on the floor will be arranged to accommodate 6’ social distancing.

Bus Program & Valet

  • Bus Program is running with limited seating at stops. Please Visit River Rock Casino website for more transportation details.
  • Valet services is suspended until further notice.

Events & Entertainment

  • Multi-person live entertainment at the Center Stage is suspended until further notice.

Slots Machine Areas

Slots will be implementing the guidance provided by Cal/OSHA Guidance Requirement to Protect Workers from Coronavirus and the CDC guidance for businesses and employers:

  • Slot Machine surfaces will be cleaned prior to guests sitting down and after the guest gets up from the machine.
  • The surfaces of each Slot Machine, Slot Chair and Slot Machine Base will be routinely and frequently cleaned every 2 hours.  

Slot Floor Physical Distancing: Guests are welcome to game at slot machines. Clear Plexiglass shields will be placed between some machines and other machines will be taken “out of service” to encourage social distancing on the casino floor.


Table Games

  • Guests are welcome at Table Games with every other chair removed from the table and no more than 3 chairs/patrons at a game at a time.
  • Table Games will provide distancing and cleaning processes that meets the generally accepted guidelines of the multiple agencies.
  • Clear plexiglass shields are installed at each table for added safety. 

Food & Beverage

  • All team members must use disposable gloves and facial coverings when handling service utensils, breads, accessing silverware, preparing and serving food and dispensing beverages.
  • Disposable single use condiments will be available for guest use.

Quail Run Café

  • A la carte dining will be served in the Quail Run Café outside Valley Deck, allowing for more seats than are available in the Center Stage dining room.
  • Dining tables and seats will be appropriately spaced to allow for social distancing.
  • Clear plexiglass shields will be utilized as necessary at Quail Run point of sale and the cashier station.
  • Guests will be seated by a host cashier on a first come first serve basis.
  • Initially, the maximum amount of guests allowable at one table will be limited to four.
  • Dining tables and chairs will be sanitized after each use. Frequent contact surfaces will be sanitized at least hourly with Quaternary based sanitizers already in use from the dispensers in F&B.
  • Check presenters, pens and all other reusable guest contact items will be sanitized after each use.
  • A limited menu will be available, and will be printed on a disposable single use paper. Menus will be disposed of immediately after guest use.

Center Stage Bar & Grill

  • Beverage service from the Center Stage Bar will be available on an as-needed basis.
  • Clear plexiglass shields will be utilized as necessary at the Center Stage point of sale, service stations, and cashier station.

High Limit Bar

  • Beverage service from the High Limit Bar will be available on an as-needed basis.
  • Clear Plexiglass shields will be utilized as necessary at the High Limit service station.
  • Plexiglass partitions will be added and bar stools will be removed to support appropriate social distancing.

Fortune Café

  • The Fortune Café services will be suspended until further notice.

Beverage Service

  • The self-serve beverage station will be open at an “On Demand” basis and may be staffed with a team member that will take requests and deliver soft beverages from the self-serve beverage station to guests waiting in line at the self-serve beverage station.
  • Markers will be placed on the floor to remind guests to socially distance when in line for beverages.
